Larry H's 2012 Sugar Awards
Each year Larry H. makes his picks for Best Picture etc. I’ve chosen “Django Unchained” as “Best Picture” for 2012. These picks are not necessarily my choices for the probable winners of the Oscar, but these are my favorites. When the members of the Academy vote on talent and popularity, there is a lot of room for differences of opinions, egos, and some, in my opinion, outright mistakes.
 
For example, leaving Quentin Tarantino off the list of Best Directors is an outrage as is the omission of “Bernie” and Jack Black as its star. I have other peccadillos and crimes against the movie industry, but that’s part of the fun. The following is the list of the 2012 Sugar Awards with Best Picture being listed first and so on:
